I just tried to research my Ovation Celebrity by serial #. Most people only turn loose of these of they pass on or lose it in a divorce, etc. Once you get it off, remove the 4 corner screws that hold the mounting plate to the pick-up. IVE BEEN TO BOTH APPLAUSE & THE OVATION SITES & I EVEN WENT TO THE KAMAN MUSIC SITE & I COULDNT FIND THE AE14 ANY WERE. I have one too and I cant find anything about then either. It says Ovation on the headstock and Kaman made in Korea inside the body on a label. I just received a guitar from a friend who had kept it after a mutual friend passed away many years ago. Would like to spruce it up (no pun intended), change strings, et. this will give you pictures of it's separate parts. It says "Made in Korea" and "Handcrafted quality" on a label inside the soundhole. I decided to do internet research and found this site and your question. Another site said that Applause shipped production overseas in 1982. We're told baby #3 is due at the end of January.Kim and Kanye hired a surrogate because she has a medical condition -- placenta accreta -- that became extremely serious during her second pregnancy and we're told it could become life-threatening if she tried to carry another baby to term. The decision to discontinue this model Was a stupid move In my opinion. ( sounds good htough) I bought mine new In 1985, and Im still playing It In the studio, and at live gigs. And the fact that she was made here In the USA Is Icing on the cake.
If I am unable to repair your instrument, return shipping is on me. KMC is part of the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation group and distributes a wide range of brands including: Adamas Amigo Applause Arbor Charvel Hamer Jasmine JBP J Reynolds Ovation Sierra Slammer Takamine I have a 1978 Ovation Legend "Limited" stereo guitar, and the electronics aren't working anymore. I obtained a Takamine Guitar yesterday, the g-230 model. I'll be playing in a benefit show, and would like to have it repaired, but don't know where to take or send it. I have a 24gtx that I am restoring it had the black and pink crackle paint before I gave it a hydro dip. With this serial number, I cannot find the date of this guitar and I was hoping somebody could help me. Judging by the pictures of discontinued models on the Takamine web site, this because of the coloring, I take it to be an F369SD. (Needs a lot of work) Does anyone know where I can get the work done. Wondering if anybody has any information on the Montana line. It may not be worth much but the fellow that passed away was a best friend in my early youth. I'm working my magic on a guitar, the pickup selector switch emits a physical buzz in the middle position only, when certain notes are played. I have an AE31 I bought it new from Rose Morris years ago its OK a nice guitar, about a year ago one was for sale in Germany I think the guy got about 70 euros for it I think it must be worth more than that, but the market dictates, good luck mike.
